It's the day!

It's the day. The big day. I'm hoping for an Obama landslide, of course--but I'll take a simple win.

It's gonna be tense. All I can say.

All signs point toward a record turnout. I'm also hoping for a landslide to end all landslides. I'd love it if this election is so decisive that no-one in their right minds can question it without everyone else just staring at them in puzzlement.

I would love that too. Because it would shut up the resident neocon moron in RPoL's chat for a very, very long time. :p

I VOTED!

I also picked up snacks for this evening, because I'm going to be up until it's over!

I voted. Big work day so a lot out of the loop here, but from all appearances, we'll have 95% or better turnout here in town. But Minnesota always has one of the highest voter turnouts in the nation. Yay us!

I wish I was allowed to vote for Obama...

MWT: Are they still bugging you in chat?

I VOTED TOO! I'm quite sure you are all interested to hear what I have to say:)

I think McCain will pull out a victory in California. (Hey, it's MY dream, stay out!)

I voted early. Shawn keeps leaving his polling place because of lines. But I'm sure he'll persevere.

:)

Yay, voting! I voted in my polling place in mid-afternoon for the first time ever, so I breezed in and out (never done *that* before). I took my 5 year-old, who mostly enjoyed getting her own "I voted sticker" and a piece of candy on the way out. She was pleased that I voted for who she wants. :-) Not that it matters here in MD.

Now I really should get some work done, instead of visiting blogs and news-sites...

For Democracy to work, every eligible voter needs to turn out and vote.

And that includes people who vote "wrong," Leanright. :-)

But seriously: hooray to everyone who voted, however you chose to vote!

Rebelcat: No, he's been observing the month ban pretty well (so far). Which is a relief to the rest of us. ;)

Am I wrong, Eric? Really?

We shall see. Although I hope for the best for our nation, my gut instinct tells me otherwise.

Four short years. That's what he's got. Four short years.

Sheesh, Leanright. Let's see how he does before we decide the 2012 election, eh>

My point is...he's got four years to prove himself worthy of ANOTHER four years.
