Something about Laurel J. Sweet's bombshell revelations about Dr. Amy Bishop's background reminded me of this truly groundbreaking piece of investigative journalism from the 1980's. (On a related note, I'm a little baffled that Alan Moore mysteriously failed to reference it in From Hell--seems like it could've been incorporated into the "Dance of the Gull-Catchers" segment somewhere... oh well, maybe if he ever does a revised version, he and Eddie Campbell can rectify it.)
